The Safe Zone Committee at SUNY Fredonia works to foster the development of an atmosphere of growth and enrichment for all. Specifically, its goal is to provide the campus community with education and training to promote the understanding of issues affecting lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender people. Further, we act as advocates for LGBT students, faculty, and staff; ultimately striving to create an open and just University.
